Twelve tracks. Five centuries of observation about the oldest and most reliable mechanism of human control. The claim to divine authority. The institution that names itself God’s instrument and then uses that naming to extract obedience, silence dissent, and justify whatever it needs to justify on a given day in a given century in a given conflict.
I do not preach. I have watched too many preachers to want to be one. I question. I document. I make the pattern visible in sound for the people who need to hear it named in a form that bypasses the usual defenses.

Andy Partridge wrote it as a letter to God from someone who has suffered under the claim that suffering is God’s plan. I have been writing the same letter since 1473. His version is three and a half minutes and very good. Mine is twelve tracks and took five centuries to complete.
